"What
amazing and beneficial things did I learn in Man and Society at SWUIC with
Bruce this term?" and "How has this course made me a better
person?"
Firstly,
I was wonder what we learn about Man&Society is it like a Social that I was
learn from high school ? I think we learn what is a social ? what is a society?
I don’t know what we learn because the first class I absent and I follow from
my friend. I try to follow the work that you give me and I’m so impress that
you pay attention to me. Actually, I like a Social Study and I think this
subject is very easy so I think I can do well in your class too. The first time
that I learn I think it is challenge because you teach many details and it’s
not about in a textbook but you teach us how to use in real life, you try to
tell us that it can adapt to your life. Everything that we learn can use in
real life, So we change our mind after we learn many thing from you. Not only
understanding society but also in my mind, I can manage myself also how to
adapt myself in social life. At first we learn in class more than after
mid-term, It’s like you let me
know how to do when we going out to work.
Your class have many presentation
so at first I’m so really nervous when I go to have a speech or speaking with
many people but you change me to dare to present with many people. I’m not
worry when I present to other persons I can speak with my confident, this is
the best thing that I’ve learn from your class. Moreover, you create our group
to work each other if you give us to create by ourselves I think I cannot enjoy
with other friend. This is the good chance that I have to make a new friends
and dare to share more idea to other people. From the first group we making a
short movie and I think it is funny. At first I don’t know what to do I didn’t
share my own idea but we must work together and we should share our idea to
make a work will be success. So we try to share our idea to the group. After we
making a film I think we talkative more than the first time we met. I think it’s
good to make us acting so we can show what we are.
After mid-term examination we
change group and I think it’s not difficult to adapt myself to new group and we
don’t have any gap each other. The work after mid-term is about survey and I
think it’s time to communication with other people. I’m so crazy at first
because I’m not good speaker I’m scare to make a work unsuccessful, I’m so shy
to speak with other people. We must survey a restaurant, Hotel, tourist
attraction and so on. I think I’m not do it good enough in this part, I don’t
have any confident when I meet people. My friend are motive me to do it and I
try to do it. I don’t want to be a weaken person so I try to develop myself and
I think I can do it although is not good enough but I try to do it better as
much as I can.
This survey project can change me
too, like the first we observation a restaurant, we survey around the
restaurant and is it good to us?
So I realize that it is important for you to see what is restaurant
like. Food is important to us and it involve to our health. Before I do this
project I’m easily eating I don’t care what restaurant like but after this I
care in many thing around me. When I go to restaurant I see everything is it
good? Is it clean for me ? and I realize about a service. I think that this
restaurant or a café is good or not so I can complain them about their
restaurant include a service that I never done before. I think it’s good for me
to see what is good or bad and make me hindful about eating. Moreover we are
observation a Hotel we choose FX hotel in Furama affiliation. This is a small hotel and it’s full of
service mind, when I walk into the hotel a staff welcoming with a smile and the
owner is welcome us good.
The manager take us to survey all
around the hotel and give us many information. She try to do the best to give
some information and she is very kind and we don’t lose self-confident to ask
her. I think it’s easy to do this work, we talk like we are a friend it is
funny. The last project that we do is Tourist attraction, we must survey the
attraction and interview a tourist. I think this is hard for me also it is
challenge. I’m very shy when I interview to people and I’m not good in English
and I think I cannot do it well. My friend tell me to do it, so I try to do it
one with Thai people but I think I’m not good enough.
Finally, I want to tell you that
I better than before because of you Aj.Bruce, although I’m not good enough but
I think I can do it well in the
future. I will develop myself to be better than today and I will use you lesson to practice myself and I wish I
will can do it. It is a short time that you teach us but you gave more than we
expect from you. Just 4 months I can change my mind into a think positive
people and realize what to do in a real life. I think your course is good for
us and Thank you to make us to be a good person. I will use whatever you teach
us to develop and I will be good for sure.
